The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities
The lodging facility at Short Street is targeted to be operational by the second fifty percent of this year, while the various other two spots will welcome healthcare experts in 1H2025. Together, the facilities are projected to fit 1,180 foreign health care workers.

MOH Holdings had launched an inquiry for proposal in August of last year to designate a manager to retrofit unused buildings and manage hostel-type accommodation for recent offshore health care employees on five areas, including the sites at 1A Short Avenue, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the location of a former student hostel, while the last 2 are locations of former institutions.
A joint project between Singapore co-living provider The Assembly Place and TS Group, a provider of massive accommodation for international personnels and the senior, has recently become part of an agreement with MOH Holdings to develop, retrofit and operate three lodging establishments for international healthcare workers that are unfamiliar to Singapore. The centers stand at 1A Short Street, 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent, and 207 Circuit Road.
The renewed centers will definitely include a co-living concept centred around community living. “We know that several [foreign healthcare personnels] are leaving their home countries for the very first time, so it is extremely significant to create a reliable and convenient setting for them,” says Eugene Lim, founder and CEO of The Assembly Place.

Lim includes that the alliance between TS Group and The Assembly Place will make use of the former’s substantial expertise in running massive hotels places and the latter’s strength in community-building. “We eagerly anticipate developing significant rooms and activities to welcome the health care specialists,” he states.
